儒家人文精神范式下跨文化能力理论的本土化建构

The Indigenous Conceptualization of Intercultural Competence under the Confucian Humanism Paradigm

摘要 目前跨文化能力的理论建构模式还多以欧洲中心主义范式为主导,如何在中国思想的指导下,开展内外统一、情理相融,且以道德实践为中心的本土化理论研究,彰显我国文化在跨文化领域的声音,是需要关注的议题。以儒家经典为思想基础,建构出以“仁”及“成仁”为本质内容的儒家人文精神范式,并在该范式下,重新对交际的存在论意义和交际者的道德实践主体本质进行元理论层面的反思,并进一步提出了本土化跨文化能力的概念化框架。框架的核心观点是“仁”与跨文化能力的本土阐释是相通的,二者的相通主要表现在三个方面:第一,理想的交际活动本质上是“致中和”的道德实践,它与理想的心灵状态(仁)相伴而生;第二,跨文化意识是人类命运共同体意识在日常交际中的具体化的事件性表达,二者的关系正如“诚意”与“仁”;第三,得体有效的交际行为是践行为更广泛人群而服务这一人生理想的具体化的事件性表达,二者的关系正如“成事”与“成义”。 What perhaps should receive more attention is the localization of intercultural competence(IC)theories which are centered with ethical practices and also characterized as the unity of the intercultural mind and practices,as well as the integration of emotion and reason under the inspiration of Chinese thought for highlighting oriental perspective in the intercultural area to balance the present theoretical scenario dominated with Eurocentric paradigm.Built on the thoughts expressed in The Analect and The Great Learning,the conceptual framework of Confucian Humanism paradigm has been constructed with“Ren”and“Being Ren”at its core under the paradigm the metatheoretical reflection on the ontological meaning of IC and the communicators’status of moral agency has also been made,all of these leads to the theoretical conclusion that Chinese indigenous conceptualization of IC that could be similar to the Chinese“Ren”.Generally,the similarities between IC and“Ren”could be concluded as three following aspects.Firstly,the ideal communicative practices essentially can be regarded as the moral practices to achieve the state of“Zhong”(appropriate)and“He”(harmony),which also accompanied by the noble mind(Junzi).Secondly,the intercultural awareness is the expression of Community consciousness of human destiny in the daily communicative practices whose relations are similar to the relations between“the psychological state of sincerity”(Chengyi,诚意)and“the personality of Ren”.Thirdly,the effective and appropriate interactions is the expression of the worldly ideal serving the people in the daily communicative practices whose relations are similar to the relations between“achieving something”(Chengshi)and“realizing oneself”(Chengyi,成义).
