Analysis of the Export Competitiveness of Chinese Chemicals

本文首先分析国内外学者对国际竞争力的研究与进展,构建本文的研究思路框架和主要研究方法,并以国内外国际竞争力的研究成果为理论基础,构建本国的化学、化工品出口竞争力评价体系。其次,通过三个主要指数:国际市场占有率、显性比较优势指数和贸易竞争力指数实证分析,建立多元回归模型,分析资本、科研创新水平、产业集中度和本产业规模经济四个指标对化学化工制造品国际竞争力的影响。计算数据所得结果显示,现阶段我国的化学化工品国际竞争水平比较低。最后,本文针对实证分析结果,提出了提高本国化学品及相关制造品出口竞争力的建议。

This paper firstly analyzes the research and progress of international competitiveness by domestic and international scholars,establishes the framework of research paths and main research methods of this paper,and builds the evaluation systems of the country’s chemicals export competitiveness based on the research results of international competitiveness domestically and internationally as the theoretical basis.Secondly,through the empirical analysis of three main indices,including international market share,revealed comparative advantage index,and trade competitiveness index,a multiple regression model is established to analyze the influence of four indicators,capital,scientific research and innovation levels,industrial concentration and economy of scale of the industry on the international competitiveness of chemicals manufacturing products.The results obtained from the calculated data show that the international competitiveness level of chemicals in China is low at this stage.Finally,this paper puts forward suggestions to improve the competitiveness of China’s exports of chemicals and related manufactured products based on the results of empirical analysis.
