Red Culture and patriotism are the precious spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation,both of which are important contents of ideological and political education in universities in the new era.This paper analyzes the significanceof integrating Red Culture into patriotism education in universities,the dilemma encountered in the processand the reasons.It explores the integrationpaths in terms of educational mechanisms,educationalcontents,educational means,and educational results,aiming to activate the Red Culture factors and enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of patriotic education in universities in the new era.
