Correlation between MUC16 in a variety of tumors and tumor immunity and its clinical significance

摘要 目的分析MUC16基因在多种肿瘤中的表达,探索MUC16与肿瘤免疫的相关性以及其临床意义。方法癌症基因组图谱(TCGA)数据库中下载32种肿瘤RNA表达量数据,应用生物信息学分析算法确定MUC16表达量与肿瘤免疫关系(免疫检查点基因、肿瘤组织免疫评分、免疫细胞浸润),进一步分析MUC16表达与结肠癌预后的关系。数据分析部分除特殊说明外均采用在线数据库Sangerbox3.0工具。结果MUC16在12种肿瘤组织中表达量高于正常样本(P<0.05),差异有统计学意义。MUC16在多种肿瘤中与肿瘤免疫检查点基因(P<0.05)、肿瘤免疫评分(P<0.05)、免疫细胞相关(P<0.05),差异均有统计学意义。MUC16 mRNA在结肠癌组织中表达升高(P<0.05),与预后明显相关,差异均有统计学意义。结论MUC16在多种肿瘤组织中表达量升高且与肿瘤免疫明显相关。 Objective To explore the expression of MUC16 gene in a variety of tumors and its correlation with tumor immunity and its clinical significance.Methods RNA expression data of 32 tumors were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database and the corresponding bioinformatics analysis algorithm was employed to determine the relationship between the expression of MUC16 and tumor immunity,including immune checkpoint genes,immune score,and immune cells.Furthermore,the association of MUC16 with prognosis of colon cancer was determined.The data were analyzed by the online database Sangerbox 3.0 tool unless otherwise stated.Results The expression level of MUC16 in 12 tumor tissues was higher than that in normal samples(P<0.05),with statistical significance.MUC16 was related to tumor immune checkpoint genes(P<0.05),immune score(P<0.05),and immune cells(P<0.05),in a variety of tumors,with statistical significance.The expression of MUC16 mRNA was increased in colon cancer tissues(P<0.05),and it was significantly correlated with prognosis of colon cancer,with statistical significance.Conclusion The expression of MUC16 was increased in a variety of tumor tissues,and significantly related to tumor immunity.
