Change and Invariance:Keep Vigorous in the Initial Mind and Stand at the Tide of the Times of Higher Art Education

由上海美专、苏州美专、山东大学艺术系合并而成的南京艺术学院已经筚路蓝缕、薪火相传110周年,作为我国独立建制创办最早并延续至今的高等艺术学府,始终在为党育人为国育才的根本任务召唤下永葆初心,坚守中国高等艺术教育使命的责任担当;始终在“闳约深美”“不息变动”的办学精神激励下踔厉奋发,勇立高等艺术教育的时代潮头。进入新时代,更应以中国特色、世界一流的综合性艺术大学为建设目标,在实现中国式现代化的新征程中勇担使命、勇挑重任,为丰富人民精神世界,实现人民共同富裕,促进人与自然和谐共生,推动构建人类命运共同体不懈努力。

Nanjing Arts University,which was formed by the merger of Shanghai Fine Art School,Suzhou Fine Art School and the Art Department of Shandong University,has been passing on from generation to generation for 110 years.As the earliest independent institution of higher art education in China and continues to this day,Nanjing Arts University has always maintained its original intention under the call of the fundamental task of educating people for the Party and the country,and has always been responsible for upholding the mission of China’s higher art education;Inspired by the spirit of"broadness,conciseness,profoundness,beauty"and"changing constantly"in running a school,we have always been working hard to set the tide of higher art education.Entering the new era,we should take the construction goal of a world-class comprehensive art university with Chinese characteristics,shoulder the mission and the heavy responsibility in the new journey to achieve Chinese path to modernization,make unremitting efforts to enrich the people’s spiritual world,achieve common prosperity of the people,promote the harmonious coexistence of man and nature,and promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
