Comprehensive treatment and ecological restoration of the Yongding River:practices and prospect

《永定河综合治理与生态修复总体方案》印发以来,经过5年的治理实践,永定河初步实现了生态水量统一调度,河湖生态环境质量显著改善,水旱灾害防御能力稳步提升,流域协同治理能力明显加强,取得了良好的生态效益和社会效益。进入新发展阶段,复苏永定河生态环境任务依然艰巨,水资源统一调度与生态水量保障能力亟待加强,生态系统质量和稳定性仍有待提升,数字孪生永定河亟需建成,流域协同治理体制机制还需进一步完善。对下一步重点工作提出建议。

Since the issuance of the Overall Plan for Comprehensive Management and Ecological Restoration of the Yongding River,unified regulation of ecological flow has been realized after five years’efforts,with remarkable improvement of ecological environment,enhancement of capability to prevent floods and droughts and formation of coordinated actions for water management in the basin,which has achieved great ecological and social benefits.Entering the new development stage,the task of recovering ecological environment of the Yongding River is still arduous.It is necessary to emphasize unified water resources regulation and ensure ecological flow.It also needs to improve quality and stability of the ecosystem,complete digital twin Yongding River and system and mechanism for coordinated watershed management.Suggestions for the work in the next step are put forward.
