Strengthening the Patriotic Education of college students is the realistic need to carry out the basic task of cultivating moral character.College English teaching should not only train international talents who are proficient in English,but also cultivate the patriotism of college students.We should combine the education for the purpose of learning English with the education of patriotism,nurture the patriotic feelings of the college students through cultural edification,cultivate their will to strengthen the country through vivid practice,develop the National selfconfidence and pride of college students through emotional education,and guide college students’behavior to serve the country with the story of China in the new era.
