温饱之外:“新农保”对农村老年人养老质量的改善效应研究

Research on the Effect of “New Rural Insurance” on Improving the Quality of Rural Elderly Care

“新农保”的重要意义在于为农村老年人的社会交往提供经济支持,进而改善老人的养老质量。且“新农保”对于养老质量的改善效应,也需较长的时间间隔才能比较充分地呈现出来,因此,文章利用中国老年健康影响因素跟踪调查(CLHLS)2008年和2018年两期数据,运用DID与PSM-DID等实证方法,评估“新农保”对农村老年人养老质量的改善效果。研究显示,“新农保”在一定程度上改善了农村老年人的养老质量,从养老质量构成变量来看,“新农保”均对其产生显著影响。此外,“新农保”对于农村老年人养老质量的改善存在显著的异质性。

The important significance of the "new rural insurance" is to provide economic support for the social interaction of the elderly in rural areas,thereby improving the quality of elderly care.Moreover,the improvement effect of the "new rural insurance" on the quality of elderly care also needs a long time to be fully presented.Therefore,this article uses the data of the 2008 and 2018 China Elderly Health Influencing Factors Tracking Survey(CLHLS),and uses empirical methods such as DID and PSM-DID to evaluate the improvement effect of the "new rural insurance" on the quality of elderly care in rural areas.The research shows that the "new rural insurance" has improved the elderly care quality in rural areas to a certain degree.It plays significant impact on all variables of the elderly care quality.In addition,the "new rural insurance" has significant heterogeneity in improving the quality of rural elderly care.
