《淮南子》之“宜”的设计思想研究

Study on the Design Philosophy of“Yi”in Huainan Zi

《淮南子》文笔瑰丽、思想深邃、理论精辟,集道家之大成,其中“用之于其所适,施之于其所宜”是《淮南子》设计思想的精髓,这一思想对汉代及其以后的造物设计产生了深远影响。句中的“宜”在此处有恰到好处之意,即其符合自然与社会的客观规律,被《淮南子》在论述造物设计时多次提及。文章拟从功能之宜、审美之宜、材质之宜、色彩之宜以及生态之宜五方面着手分析,在阐释中理解《淮南子》之“宜”的设计思想,以期为当代设计传承中华优秀传统文化提供借鉴和启示。

Huainan Zi,magnificent in style,profound in thought and incisitive in theory,is a masterpiece of Taoism.In the author′s opinion,“Everything has its appropriate scope,and only by putting them in the appropriate place can they be useful”is the essence of the design philosophy of Huainan Zi,which has exerted a profound influence on the design of creation in the Han Dynasty and later.The Chinese character“Yi”in the sentence has the meaning of being proper here,which means conforming to the objective laws of nature and society and is repeatedly mentioned in Huainan Zi when discussing the design of creation.This article intends to analyze from five aspects:yi for function,yi for aesthetics,yi for material,yi for color and yi for ecology,in order to understand the design philosophy of“Yi”in Huainan Zi and provide a view for reflection and inheritance of contemporary design.
