女性主义视阙下《初秋》汉译本的翻译倾向

The Translation Tendency of the Chinese version of Early Autumn from the Feminism Perspective

作为当下文化翻译研究的一个重要走向,女性主义翻译理论对文本的干涉主要有增补、加写前言与脚注、劫持3种方式。文章从文化翻译层面探索了兰斯顿·修斯短篇小说代表作《初秋》汉译本中的女性主义倾向,对译者张白桦所采取的增译法、自序副文本、换序加增减的“创造性叛逆”3种文本干涉方式,结合实例进行了深入探索,认为译者通过上述文本干涉方式,再现了《初秋》中的女性形象,强化了女性的性别身份认同,为当代女性主义翻译实践提供了个案参考。

As an important trend of cultural translation studies,the feminist translation theory has three ways of interference in the text:supplement,preface and footnote,and hijacking.From the perspective of cultural translation,this paper intends to explore the feminist tendency in the Chinese version of the short story Early Autumn by Langston Hughes.Combined with examples,this paper makes an in-depth exploration of the ways of interference in the text by translator Zhang Baihua,namely,supplement,self-ordered paratext,and“creative treason”.This paper argues that through the above text interference,the translator reproduces the female image in Early Autumn,strengthens the female gender identity,and provides a case reference for contemporary feminist translation practice.
