基于需求分析的生态化混合式大学英语教学改革研究 被引量:1

摘要 贵州省少数民族地区地方本科高校不仅要面对一直以来大学生进校英语水平相对较低的问题,还面临着每周面授课时量被要求减少至2节的状况,大学英语教师正迎接着更大的挑战来提高学生英语水平和四、六级过级率,因此,实施大学英语教学改革势在必行。构建高质量混合式教学模式是实现大学英语教学改革的一项重要举措。本研究通过利用生态给养的理论视角来构建新型混合式教学模式、改善教育教学方式和方法,提升大学生英语自主学习能力,从而提高大学生英语水平。该教学模式的构建需要立足于了解贵州省地方本科高校大学生的混合式学习的实施现状和混合式自主学习需求。本研究将需求分析作为主要研究方法,利用调查问卷和访谈两种方法,对全省2036名学生进行网上调研并收集数据,经SPSS数据分析和访谈内容整理,构建了适合于该类院校的生态化混合式大学英语教学模式作为教学改革的一项措施。 Not only are local universities in Guizhou ethnic areas facing the problems of freshmen un⁃der lower English proficiency levels,but also the current situations on the reduction of weekly face-to face classes.It means that such teachers are suffering more challenges than other provinces and cities on the improvement of students’English proficiency levels and tests results of CET Band 4 and 6.Therefore,there is a strong need to reform teaching.One of the most important ways to reform is to re⁃construct high quality Teaching Models of Blending Learning.This research study focuses on the con⁃struction of a new teaching model via Affordance Theory from Ecology perspectives with the hope of im⁃proving teaching environments and APProaches to developing English learners’autonomous learning skills,and then promoting their English language proficiency.Needs analysis is the core in this study to help researchers understand current implemented situations of Blending Learning and learners’needs on online autonomous learning through quantitative and qualitative research methods and instru⁃ments of online questionnaires and interviews.2036 students were involved in this study,and the data were collected and then analyzed.Finally,the main structure of the college English Teaching Models of Blending Learning based on Affordance Theory was successfully constructed as a measure of the teaching reform.
