近代北京(北平)图书馆协会工作研究

Research on the Work of Modern Beijing Library Association

作为近代中国最早的图书馆协会,北京(北平)图书馆协会在业内诸多领域开展了业务创新,有效促进了近代图书馆建设与业内群体交流。通过图书馆日常工作、学术与文化交流工作、会务活动等,加深了会员对图书馆理论与实践的认知,增加了业内经费,节约了购书开支,推动了图书馆学科教育与学术研究建设,完成了调查、编目与出版等事务,拉近了公众与图书馆的距离,增强了会员间的凝聚力,促进了北京地区图书馆事业的近代化。

As the earliest library association in modern China,Beijing(Peking)Library Association has carried out business innovation in many fields in library industry,which has effectively promoted the construction and communication of modern libraries.Through the library daily work,academic and cultural exchanges,as well as business activities,the association has deepened members’understanding of the theory and practice of library,increased the industry funds,saved the book purchasing costs,promoted the construction of the library education and academic research,completed the investigation,cataloging and publishing businesses,closed the distance between public and library,improved the cohesion between members,as well as promoted the modernization of library construction in Beijing area.
