夏的存续是中国考古学、历史学两大工程“夏商周断代工程”与“中华文明探源工程”探索的重要问题,其对于中国古代史的意义,如同中原文明对于中华文明的意义,可谓文明之始、文化之源、历史之端。从时间轴来看,夏为“三代”之首;从空间轴来看,夏为天下之中。这些核心因素充分证明了加强中原历史文明源流考是构建人类文明新形态和破除当前夏文化研究迷雾及中西文明之辩的关键。2022年10月28日,习近平总书记在河南安阳考察时指出:“殷墟我向往已久”,“中华优秀传统文化是我们党创新理论的‘根’”。习近平总书记重要讲话精神为新时代我们奋进新征程提供了真理之光。今后,需要在系统挖掘中原历史巨大宝库的基础上构建中原学历史文化谱系,进而探究既符合具体实际又体现共同规律的体系性认识,以中原话语为中华文明永续发展、建设中华民族现代文明做出应有的贡献。

As an important research topic in the“Xia Shang Zhou Dynasty Chronology Project”and the“Chinese Civilization Exploration Project”,the survival of Xia has as great significance to ancient history of China as the Central Plains civilization to the Chinese civilization.It could be viewed as the beginning of the civilization,the origin of the culture and the starting of the history.In terms of timeline,Xia is the first of the“three generations”。In terms of space,Xia lies in the center of the world.Such core factors fully establish the belief that the key to building a new form of human civilization and a potential breakthrough in current study of Xia culture lies in the research on the origin and development of the Central Plains historical civilization.On October 28th,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out during his visit to Anyang,Henan that,“I have been longing for Yin Ruins for a long time”,and“Chinese excellent traditional culture is the root of our party’s innovative theory”。The spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech provided the light of truth for us to forge ahead on a new journey in the new era.In the future,it is necessary to build the historical and cultural pedigree of the Central Plains on the basis of systematically excavating the great treasure house of the history of the Central Plains,and further explore the systematic understanding that conforms to the specific reality and reflects the common law,so as to make due contributions to the construction of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation and the sustainable development of the Chinese civilization with the words of the Central Plains.
