Factual Research on Zhang Zhongshi’s Contact with Zhou Enlai

著名马克思主义理论家、翻译家张仲实与党和国家的卓越领导人周恩来交往时间达半个世纪。在这漫长的岁月里,无论是张仲实在莫斯科留学期间聆听周恩来传达党的六大精神,还是抗战时期张仲实在武汉八路军办事处访问周恩来、引荐邹韬奋面见周恩来以及在专著中征引周恩来有关抗战形势的分析;也无论是周恩来精心安排张仲实和茅盾脱险新疆、随同朱总司令车队去延安,还是周恩来亲自主持并安排张仲实具体负责纪念和追悼邹韬奋先生的筹备工作,以及抗战胜利后周恩来在百忙中复信张仲实家人、新中国成立后周恩来邀请张仲实参加党的八届八中全会有关问题座谈会等等,都生动地反映了周恩来真诚关心、热情帮助和积极促进一代知识分子走向进步、走向革命的历程,以及与革命知识分子之间始终保持的良师益友关系,由此折射出中国共产党在领导中国人民进行革命和建设的百年奋斗历程中一贯尊重知识、重视知识分子和爱护人才的优良传统。

Zhang Zhongshi,a famous Marxist theorist and translator,has been in contact with Zhou Enlai,an outstanding leader of the Party and the country for more than half a century.During these years,whether it was the time when Zhang Zhongshi was listening to Zhou Enlai conveying the report to the 6 th Party Congress during his overseas study in Moscow,or it was the time when Zhang Zhongshi was visiting Zhou Enlai at the Eighth Route Army Office in Wuhan during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression while introducing Zou Taofen to Zhou Enlai and quoting Zhou Enlai’s analysis of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in his monograph;whether it was the time when Zhou Enlai carefully arranged for Zhang Zhongshi and Mao Dun to escape from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region(Xinjiang for short) and went to Yan’an with Commander-in-Chief Zhu De’s troops,or it was the time when Zhou Enlai personally presided over and arranged for Zhang Zhongshi to take charge of the preparations for commemorating and mourning for Mr.Zou Taofen,and Zhou Enlai wrote back to Zhang Zhongshi’s family regardless of his full schedule after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,and Zhou Enlai invited Zhang Zhongshi to participate in the symposium on the relevant issues of the Eighth Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China after the founding of the People’s Republic of China,etc.,all have vividly reflected Zhou Enlai’s sincere concern,enthusiastic help,active promotion of a generation of intellectuals’ progress and revolutionary course as well as the long-standing relationship with the revolutionary intellectuals,accordingly having reflected the CPC’s fine tradition of respecting knowledge,valuing intellectuals and caring for talents in the century-long struggle of leading the Chinese people in revolution and construction.
