How Does Digital Technology Enable Industrial Structure Upgrading:Heterogeneity Analysis and Mechanism Test

数字技术的快速发展对人类社会产生了广泛而深远的影响,正逐渐成为重塑生产方式和产业模式的关键力量。基于此,实证检验数字技术能否促进产业结构升级,并对其区域异质性和可能路径进行分析。研究发现数字技术赋能产业结构升级的效果存在明显的区域异质性,表现在对产业结构合理化的促进作用发生在东部和中部地区,而对产业结构高度化的作用仅发生在东部,西部地区均不显著,进一步研究发现区域经济发展水平是重要的门槛变量;资源错配改善、创新能力提升与融资约束缓解是数字技术赋能产业结构升级的重要方式,其中融资约束缓解渠道主要是通过促进间接融资来体现。上述研究结论在经过两阶段最小二乘法、系统GMM削弱内生性,并经异常值处理后依旧保持稳健。研究结论不仅为找到如何发挥数字技术更大功效的方法提供了政策启示,还为疏通数字技术在不同区域发挥作用的渠道提供了参考方向。

The rapid development of digital technology has had a wide and far-reaching impact on human society,and is gradually becoming a key force to reshape the mode of production and industrial model.Based on this,this paper empirically tests whether digital technology can promote the upgrading of industrial structure,and analyzes its regional heterogeneity and possible paths.The research findings are as follows:There is obvious regional heterogeneity in the effect of digital technology enabling industrial structure upgrading,which can be manifested in the promotion of industrial structure rationalization in the eastern and central regions,while the effect of digital technology on industrial structure supererogation only occurs in the eastern region and is not significant in the western region.Further research finds that regional economic development level is an important threshold variable.The improvement of resource mismatch,the improvement of innovation ability and the alleviation of financing constraints are important ways for digital technology to enable industrial structure upgrading,among which the financing constraint alleviation channel is mainly reflected by promoting indirect financing.The above research conclusions remain robust after two-stage least square method,system GMM weaken the endogeneity,and abnormal value processing.The research conclusions not only provide policy inspiration for finding ways to give full play to the greater efficacy of digital technology,but also provide a reference for connecting the channels for digital technology to play its role in different regions.
