The future’s very bright ahead led by the CPC

2021年,为庆祝中国共产党成立100周年,我写了一首歌,名为《歌颂你——亲爱的中国共产党》。歌词简要回顾了党史,开头是:“中华人民共和国宣告成立,继往开来的精神始终奋勇向前。国家领导人和全国人民深知,没有什么能将这个伟大民族的斗志摇撼。”10月16日上午,我和其他数亿人一起收听收看了中国共产党第二十次全国代表大会开幕会。习近平主席讲述了中国共产党经历过的一些挑战,以及党和人民如何勠力同心,在众多领域中共同战胜前进道路上的各种挑战,依靠顽强斗争打开事业发展新天地。

In 2021 I wrote a song called“The Future’s Very Bright Ahead Led by the CPC”in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China.Briefly reviewing the history of the Party one verse begins“With the founding of the PRC,the struggle did not end.The people and their leaders understood they could not bend.”In the morning of October 16,along with hundreds of million of others I watched President Xi Jinping’s opening address to the 20th CPC National Congress.He began by recounting some of the challenges that were faced by the Party and how the Party and people stood together in strong resolve not merely to overcome them but,in fact,to move beyond them.This was done in so many areas.
