Translation Practices on the Collection of Translations of Western Marxist Theory——Taking Reflections on Culture and Cultural Rights as an Example

随着人权在世界各国逐渐受到重视,各种人权诉求层出不穷,其中少数民族和土著民族的文化权利得到越来越多的关注,关于文化权利的文学及非文学作品的翻译也如火如荼。本文以布鲁斯·罗宾斯和埃尔莎·斯达玛托玻娄的作品《文化与文化权利反思》为例,通过直译、增译、合译、意译以及重构五种翻译策略探讨“目的论”在马克思主义理论翻译中的指导意义。

With the increasing attention to human rights in countries all over the world, various demands for human rights emerge in an endless stream, among which the cultural rights of ethnic minorities and indigenous peoples are receiving more and more attention. Therefore, the translation of literary and non-literary works on cultural rights is in full swing. Taking Reflections on Culture and Cultural Rights by Bruce Robbins and Elsa Starmatopoulou as an example, this paper discusses the guiding significance of skopos theory in the translation of Marxist theories by means of five translation strategies: literal translation, additional translation, co-translation,free translation and reconstruction.
