摘要
语篇的评价意义指的是语篇中作者或说话者对实体或命题所持的情感、态度和观点,是语言各系统合力的产物,也是读者与文本进行积极互动的产物。以《新视野大学英语读写教程(第三版)》第一册的一篇课文为例,从词汇句法层、语篇层面及语境角度引导学生识别并解析文章中的主要的评价资源,旨在提高学生对评价资源的敏感度,深入理解语篇的评价意义,为进一步的分析、评价语篇提供理论依据。
The evaluative meaning refers to the emotion,attitude and opinions the writer/speaker conveys to the entities and propositions in the text,thus it is the product of simultaneous functioning of all the systems of language,and the outcome of active interaction between the reader and the text as well.Thus,this paper attempts to guide the students to recognize and analyze,from the perspectives of the lexical grammatical stratum,textual stratum and context,the main evaluative resources of a text in New Horizon College English Reading and Writing Book 1.The purpose is to enhance the students’sensitivity to evaluative resources,to improve the comprehension of evaluative meaning and to provide theoretical reference for further analysis and evaluation of the text.
