Lifelong learning,in spite of the fact that this concept doesn’t exist for a long time,actually has been deeply rooted,as a practical study of life,into the long tradition of the learning spirit of Confucianism.The inner wisdom of life-long learning contained in Confucianism can have great beneficial effects upon the improvement of the effectiveness of the modern ideological and political education.Keeping the track of the origin of lifelong learning consciousness in Confucian can enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education in teaching practice through the advocacy of lifelong learning consciousness.
