福建土楼作为当地人从古至今居住的建筑,其建筑结构蕴含了无数当地匠人的智慧,福建土楼的建筑结构、建筑功能、装饰特色释译了福建土楼具有天地人和谐相融、家庭团结和睦、崇文重教的文化内涵。社会快速发展下,福建土楼的文化基础和民居基础发生变化,导致福建土楼的保护和传承出现新问题。保护福建土楼要有新思维和新策略。应当重新认识土楼的现代价值,完善土楼修缮,重塑土楼生态环境,加强土楼作为民居的现代化改造,优化旅游土楼,多位一体促进土楼的保护和传承。
