东北解放区的高等教育是基于解放战争和经济建设对人才的需求而建立和发展的,在办学、人才培养、管理等方面进行了创新和探索。通过兴办干部学校和短训班服务革命战争与根据地建设需要,开展思想改造教育争取和吸引青年与知识分子支援革命,创建人民革命大学培养大批革命干部和建设人才,有力地支援了全国革命和建设事业。在高等教育管理体制上由中央直接领导过渡到中央和地方共同领导,在办学体制上完成了向新型正规高等教育制度的转变,创建了新民主主义的高等教育体制,为新民主主义教育向社会主义教育过渡,为新中国教育事业的快速发展奠定了物质基础和思想保障。

The higher education in the northeast liberated area was established and developed based on the demand for talents from the war of liberation and the economic construction.During this period,the higher education made innovations and explorations in running schools,training talents and management.By setting up cadre schools and short training classes to serve the needs of the revolutionary war and the construction of base areas,carrying out ideological reform and education to win over and attract young people and intellectuals to support the revolution,and establishing people s revolutionary universities to train a large number of revolutionary cadres and construction personnel,thus effectively supporting the cause of revolution and construction throughout the country.On the higher education management system by the central leadership transition directly to the central and local,completed on the system of running a school to the new formal higher education system,create the higher education system of new democracy,for from the xinmin socialist education transition to a socialist education,as the research has laid a solid foundation of education theory with Chinese characteristics,It has laid material foundation and ideological guarantee for the rapid development of education in new China.
