In recent years, non-degradable plastics have been restricted to use. Research and industrialization of completely biodegradable materials are becoming a hot topic. In this paper, the considerable factors for the design in biodegradable plastic formulas were briefly introduced. Plastic resins and additives usually used in biodegradable plastic compound were summarized. Different processing methods used for biodegradable plastic modified compound were analyzed. Suggestions for biodegradable plastic compound design were illustrated.
