乡村产业发展如何影响农户家庭消费?

How does the Development of Rural Industries Affect the Consumption of Rural Households?

基于2020年中国土地经济调查(CLES)数据,文章采用工具变量、倾向得分匹配等方法,探究乡村产业发展对农户家庭消费水平、消费结构的影响及其机制。研究表明,乡村产业发展有助于提高农户家庭消费水平、优化消费结构,且这一结论在考虑选择性偏误、内生性等问题后依然成立。进一步地,乡村产业发展对消费低分位点农户家庭的促进作用更强,从而有助于缩小农村内部消费差距。从影响机制来看,乡村产业发展主要通过增加农户家庭人均工资性收入、改善收入预期态度和缩小农村工资性收入差距实现消费水平提升、消费结构优化。研究结论不仅有助于理解乡村产业发展与农户家庭消费之间的关系,同时能够为深入推进乡村产业振兴战略提供重要的现实依据。

Based on the 2020 China Land Economic Survey(CLES)data,this paper uses instrumental variables,propensity score matching and other methods to explore the impact of rural industrial development on the consumption level and consumption structure of rural households,and discusses the corresponding mechanism.The research results show that the development of rural industries helps to improve the consumption level of rural households and optimize the consumption structure;and this conclusion still holds after considering the problems of selection bias and endogeneity.Further,the development of rural industries has a stronger role in promoting rural households in the low quantile of consumption,thereby helping to narrow the consumption gap within rural areas.From the point of view of the influence mechanism,the development of rural industries mainly realizes the improvement of consumption level and the optimization of consumption structure by increasing the per capita wage income of rural households,improving the attitude of income expectation and narrowing the rural wage income gap.Research conclusions not only help to understand the relationship between rural industrial development and farmer household consumption,but also provide an important realistic basis for further promoting the rural industrial revitalization strategy.
