我国经济高质量发展的区域差距及收敛性特征

Regional Gap and Convergence Characteristics of China’s High-quality Economic Development

文章通过构建经济高质量发展的指标体系,基于2002—2018年我国省级面板数据对经济高质量发展进行测评并揭示其区域差距和收敛性。结果表明:(1)经济高质量发展水平逐年提升;省际差距不断扩大,经济高质量发展水平较高的省份主要集中在东部地区,而高质量发展水平较低的省份主要分布在中西部地区。(2)Dagum基尼系数分解结果显示,经济高质量发展的区域差距凸显,就区域内而言,呈现东部最大、西部次之、中部最小的特征;就区域间而言,东部-西部最大、东部-中部次之、中部-西部最小,但区域间差距随着时间推移呈现下降趋势。(3)从收敛性来看,全国、东部、中部和西部经济高质量发展呈现σ收敛,但东、中、西三大地区收敛差异显著,并且全国及东、中、西三大区域都存在β收敛。

This paper is based on China’s provincial panel data from 2002 to 2018 to construct the index system of high-quality economic development and evaluate the high-quality economic development and also reveal its regional gap and convergence.The results go as below:(1) The level of high-quality economic development is increasing year by year.The gap between provinces is widening,and the provinces with high level of high-quality economic development are mainly concentrated in the eastern region,while the provinces with low level of high-quality development are mainly distributed in the central and western regions.(2) The results of Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition show that the regional gap of high-quality economic development is prominent.In terms of the region,the eastern part is the largest;the western part is the second,and the central part is the smallest.In terms of inter-regional differences,the east-west region is the largest;the east-central region is the second,and the central-west region is the smallest.However,the inter-regional gap shows a downward trend with the passage of time.(3) From the perspective of convergence,the high-quality economic development in China,central China and western China shows σ convergence,but the convergence difference among the three regions is significant,and there is β convergence in the whole country and the three regions.
