Exploration of retention enema with self-made Xiangsha Yuanshao Powders in the treatment of functional abdominal pain in children

功能性腹痛是儿童的常见疾病之一,也是中医优势病种之一。根据临床经验,结合小儿生理病理特点,认为儿童功能性腹痛的病因主要为乳食积滞,以消食导滞、行气止痛为基本治法,遵循固本扶正、攻补兼施、未病先防的治疗原则,常用香附、延胡索、槟榔、莱菔子、白芍、砂仁、厚朴、枳壳、甘草、佛手、香橼等药物,运用中药灌肠疗法治疗儿童功能性腹痛,从其理论溯源、病因病机、辨证论治及其临床应用等方面展开论述,治疗上审证求因,随证加减,疗效显著。

Functional abdominal pain is one of the common diseases in children,and also one of the diseases for which traditional Chinese medicine has its advantages in treatment.According to clinical experience,combined with the physiological and pathological characteristics of children,it is believed that the leading cause of functional abdominal pain in children is the stagnation of milk and food,and its basic treatment method is to resolve food stagnation,promote qi-flowing for relieving pain,following the principle of strengthening and consolidating the body resistance,reinforcement and elimination in combination,and preventing a disease before it happens.The commonly used drugs include nutgrass galingale rhizome,rhizoma corydalis,areca seeds,radish seeds,debark peony roots,villous amomum fruits,officinal magnolia barks,orange fruits,liquorice roots,finger citron,citron fruits,etc.In this paper,the application of the traditional Chinese medicine enema therapy in the treatment of functional abdominal pain in children is discussed from the aspects of its theoretical origin,etiology and pathogenesis,treatment based on syndrome differentiation,clinical application cases,etc.It is argued that its treatment should be based on discerning the syndrome differentiation and causes of the disease,and the drugs should be modified in accordance with the specific syndrome evolution to accomplish a remarkable clinical effect.
