Specialty construction is the core content and key carrier of the development of vocational schools.It not only has a decisive impact on the improvement of school education and teaching level,but also is an important gateway to ensure the quality of talent training.A clear understanding of the current professional situation is a prerequisite for professional construction.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the accounting major in secondary vocational schools in the new era,the article explores the development strategies of the accounting major in secondary vocational schools in the new era:improving the quality of students,teaching in small classes,exploring a new mode of talent training,creating a high-level accounting professional group,strengthening the training of post transfer ability,opening up the channels for higher education to connect secondary vocational schools with higher vocational schools,restructuring the curriculum system,and optimizing the talent training program.
