Human initiative is an important issue in Marxist epistemology, and a correct understanding of human initiative and giving full play to the correct conscious initiative are of great significance for social progress.Along the railway, the residents’perception of the impact brought about by the Qinghai-Tibet Railway is the residents’direct response to the social culture and environmental changes along the railway, and the residents’attitude is the active response and adaptation to the social and cultural changes along the railway. The multivariate ANOVA analysis and regression analysis show that the individual characteristics of the residents along the railway have an important influence on their perception.Among them, four impact factors, namely region, occupation type, education level and marital status are statistically significant. The social and cultural changes brought about by the Qinghai-Tibet Railway have promoted the initiative of the residents along the railway, and we should give full play to the initiative of the residents along the railway to promote and facilitate the progress of society.
