This paper introduces the development history of the EPC model in China, and expounds the characteristics of cold chain construction projects. The EPC model applied to cold chain construction projects has advantages in terms of organization,communication, bidding, cost control, quality control and construction period control;at the same time, it has disadvantages in terms of awareness, recognition, trust, execution and participation. In general, the advantages of EPC mode outweigh the disadvantages in cold chain construction, and its applications are more and more.
