2021年上海市中青年人群电动牙刷使用及功能需求调查

Survey on use and functional requirements of electric toothbrushes among 575 mid-aged and young people, Shanghai city, 2021

目的 调查上海市中青年两个年龄段人群电动牙刷的使用情况及对电动牙刷功能需求的差异。方法 2021年9-10月采用分层随机抽样的方法,选择上海市18~24岁青年人群与44~50岁中年人群共575例研究对象,进行电动牙刷使用情况和需求问卷调查,采用χ^(2)检验和logistic回归分析年龄、性别、收入状况、专业、口腔状况等因素是否与电动牙刷使用情况有关。结果 575例调查对象中电动牙刷使用(含曾使用)率为59.30%(341/575),女性和中、高收入人群电动牙刷使用率较高(P<0.05)。在对电动牙刷功能需求方面,中年人(51.65%)比青年人(38.82%)具有更强的口腔保健功能需求(P<0.05)。青年人群(47.52%)比中年人(32.42%)更期望电动牙刷配备专用APP以提供智能服务,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。两类人群均认为电动牙刷的不足是噪音大(青年24.55%、中年25.64%)和没有达到预期效果(青年25.45%、中年30.77%)。结论 电动牙刷在上海市中青年人群中普及率较高,不同人群对电动牙刷的功能需求存在差异,未来可以朝着多种保健功能和静音减噪方向研发,以更好服务于大众口腔保健。

Objective To investigate and analyze the differences in the use and functional requirements of electric toothbrushes between middle-aged and young people in Shanghai city. Methods A stratified random sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on the use and demand of electric toothbrushes among 575 young people aged 18-24 and middle-aged people aged 44-50 in Shanghai in September-October, 2021.Chi-square test and Logistic regression were used to analyse whether age, gender, income status, profession and oral status were associated with electric toothbrush use. Results The rate of electric toothbrush use(including ever use) among the 575 survey respondents was 59.30%(341/575),with higher rates of electric toothbrush use among women and middle and high income groups(P<0.05).In terms of demand for electric toothbrush functions, middle-aged people had a stronger demand for oral health care functions than young people(51.65% for middle-aged people and 38.82% for young people, P<0.05).The youth population(47.52%) expected electric toothbrushes to be equipped with a dedicated app to provide smart services more than middle-aged people(32.42%),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The shortcomings of electric toothbrushes shared by both groups were that they were noisy(24.55% in youth and 25.64% in middle age) and did not achieve the desired effect(25.45% in youth and 30.77% in middle age). Conclusion The popularity rate of electric toothbrushes is high among middle-aged and young people in Shanghai city, and different groups have different functional requirements for electric toothbrushes.In the future, smart toothbrushes can be developed in the direction of various health care functions and mute noise reduction, which will better serve the public oral health care.
