摘要
“壸彝”一词常用于古代墓文中,通常是形容女性,意为“妇女的楷模、仪范”。在前人研究的基础上,从“壸”“彝”两字的形、音、义入手,考证出“壸”与“亚”实为一字,与“昆”音近义通,语义为“尊贵的女性”;“彝”为祭祀之语,反映了古人对鸡与玄鸟的崇拜意识,语义为“尚”“崇高”。因此,“壸”“彝”两字组成的“壸彝”一词,才具有“妇女的楷模、仪范”之义。
Starting from the female epitaphs of Zeng Gong,combining the characters of“kun(壸)”and“yi(彝)”,this article found that“kun(壸)”is similar to“ya(亚)”and“kun(昆)”,meaning“honorable woman”;“yi(彝)”is applied to sacrifices,reflecting the ancient people’s worship of“chicken”and“xuanniao(玄鸟)”,meaning“noble”.For these reasons,“Kunyi(壸彝)”has the meaning of“model of women”.
