《庄子》中的孔子形象及其意蕴

The Image of Confucius and Its Implications in Chuang Tzu

《庄子》有大量篇幅写到孔子,且形象不一。在《庄子》中,孔子不被理解,好学善思,持守固执,真诚有趣。显然,这是一个庄子化了的孔子。《庄子》借孔子扬道抑儒,这与孔子的学术地位、儒道互通以及《庄子》对孔子的矛盾情感相关。《庄子》一方面否定孔子学说,另一方面又肯定孔子为人。这种矛盾的情感,根源于《庄子》一书构成的复杂性。

There are lots of spaces describing Confucius in Chuang Tzu with different images.He is alone or diligent and wise,or stubborn,or sincere and funny.Obviously,the Confucius is tainted with Chuang Tzu.Chuang Tzu quotes Confucius to propagate Taoism and suppress Confucianism because of three reasons,namely Confucius’academic status,the similarity between Confucianism and Taoism,its contradictory feelings for Confucius.On the one hand,Chuang Tzu denies Confucianism;On the other hand,Chuang Tzu admires Confucius.The contradictory feelings are rooted in the complication of Chuang Tzu.
