The reasonable service radius of conventional bus stations is difficult to cover newly built residential communities with insufficient supporting facilities and old communities with narrow roads, and the problem of "last mile" travel has become increasingly prominent with the rapid development of cities. With the advantages of small models and short lines, microcirculation lines have become an effective solution to solve the "last mile" travel problem in cities, especially large cities, but there is still a lack of theoretical guidance in its planning and design process. Taking Yuhuatai District of Nanjing as an example, this paper proposes a microcirculation route planning and design method based on travel demand based on multi-source big data such as travel demand survey, bus enterprise operation experience and relevant national standards and specifications, and plans and designs microcirculation route schemes for the selected bus service blind spots. The proposed route planning and design methods and schemes can provide reference and reference for relevant departments to carry out microcirculation route planning and design.
