The seventy-year development history of Hainan state farms,can be divided into six historical stages.The rubber planting adventure in the initial stage,the natural rubber business in the oscillating stage,the agricultural reclamation system in the adjustment stage,the reform effect in the growth stage,the new development of comprehensive management in the development stage,and the agricultural reclamation strategy in the pioneering stage.The journey painted a magnificent historical picture.Agricultural reclamation has gone through ups and downs,and the historical experience of its development so far has enlightened people that the reclamation area can only accurately grasp the historical position and era,coordinate strategic positioning,aggregate unique resource endowments and industrial comparative advantages.Based on the fundamental attributes of agricultural enterprises,focusing on the goal of building the whole industry chain,practicing the purpose of serving people’s livelihood,grasping the key links of mechanism innovation,practicing the basic skills of“understanding agricultural affairs”,and grasping the main business of“doing agricultural work”,we can develop the theme of this era with the pulse.Only by fulfilling the national strategic mission of natural rubber,Off-Season Breeding and tropical modern agriculture can we better serve and ensure people’s livelihood in the era of free trade ports,play the role of state-owned enterprises,and demonstrate the responsibility of agricultural reclamation.
