坚守初心 不负韶华——新时代中国青年美术创作

Stay True to the Mission and Live up to Expectations: Youth Artwork Creation in China in the New Era

青年一代朝气蓬勃,是最具创新活力和探索精神的群体。在国家积极引导、扶持和鼓励下,青年艺术家秉持高度的文化自觉与文化自信,创作出体现中国特色、中国风格、中国气派的精品佳作,融涵传统美学又自出新境,深具开放意识,又彰显本土精神。肩负着民族复兴的文化责任与时代担当,青年艺术家在构建新时代艺术精神的同时,召唤并塑造着中国美术的希望与未来。本文回溯近10年(2012年至2022年)的中国当代青年美术创作,围绕一系列重要展览展开梳理,考察当代青年美术的创作生态与发展状况。基于青年艺术家的三个主要创作维度,即主题导向、活化传统、多元探索,发掘他们守正出新、创作出优秀作品的内在原因。

The energetic youth are a group of people with great innovation and exploration ability. With the guidance, support and encouragement of China, young artists, with confidence in and awareness of our own culture, have created excellent artworks that demonstrate Chinese characteristics and style, made innovations on the basis of traditional art, and developed an open mind while spreading Chinese thoughts. Young artists should shoulder the responsibility of achieving national rejuvenation and respond to the call of the times. While developing art thoughts of this new era, they are shaping the hope and future of art in China. This paper,by reviewing artworks created by young artists in the past ten years and analyzing important exhibitions, examines the creation environment and development of today’s young artists. Based on theme guidance, tradition revitalization and diversified exploration(three main aspects of youth creation), this paper explores reasons behind their efforts to make innovations on the basis of tradition and create excellent artworks.
