编委会国际化对我国英文科技期刊学术质量的影响研究

The Influence of Editorial Board Internationalization on Academic Quality of China’s English Sci-tech Journals

运用定量与定性相结合的混合研究方法探讨编委会国际化对我国英文科技期刊学术质量的影响。研究表明:编委会国际化程度可通过影响稿源国际化程度进而影响期刊学术质量;国际化编委会的构成特征、知识基础和社会资本影响着编委会的资源整合能力和跨文化吸收能力,从而对期刊学术质量持续产生影响。研究结果从国际化编委会的人员配置和能力发挥两方面为我国英文科技期刊学术质量的提升提供参考。

This paper uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to deeply explore the influence of editorial board internationalization on the academic quality of China’s English sci-tech journals.Results show that the internationalization degree of editorial board can affect journal academic quality by influencing the internationalization degree of manuscript resources.At the same time,the compositional characteristics,knowledge base and social capital of the international editorial board affect their resource integration capability and cross-cultural absorptive capacity,which has a continuous impact on journal academic quality.The results of this study provide reference for the improvement of the academic quality of English sci-tech journals in China from the aspects of personnel allocation and ability utilization of international editorial board.
