Jingzhuo disease,equivalent to prostatitis in modern medicine,is a disease of andrology and urology that tends to occur in middle-aged and young men.Such patients can account for one-third of the total number of andrology and urology outpatients.It has the characteristics of high incidence rate and recurrence rate.At present,modern medicine has not achieved ideal therapeutic effect for prostatitis.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is rich in ancient books and records on the treatment of Jingzhuo disease,and it has the characteristics of rich rational methods,prescriptions and treatments.Now we sort out some famous prescriptions of contemporary TCM for andrology,and introduce some special therapies,especially the acupoint catgut embedding technology and acupoint injection technology combined with modern science and technology,in order to show the progress of clinical technology and the superiority of TCM in the treatment of Jingzhuo disease.
