Repair and maintenance of the FAST equipment

500m口径球面射电望远镜(five-hundred-meter aperture spherical radio telescope,FAST)是“十一五”国家重大科技基础设施,是中国自主设计建造的世界最大的、灵敏度最高的单口径射电望远镜,对中国天文学实现重大原创突破具有重要意义。保障望远镜的稳定高效运行,对望远镜提高观测效率和数据质量具有重要作用。该文在重点分析FAST设备结构与工作原理、维保体系与维保内容的基础上,以实际FAST工程维保案例作为研究对象,深入分析了工程维保基本情况与维保流程;根据工程案例维保现状总结了当前FAST设备维保存在的问题;提出了有效的维保策略,并对未来的维保工作进行展望,以期提高FAST观测时长与使用寿命。

The five-hundred-meter aperture spherical radio telescope(FAST)is a key national research facility built by China during the 11th Five-Year Plan period.FAST is the world's largest and most sensitive single-aperture radio telescope and has significantly contributed to astronomical research.The operators seek to guarantee that the FAST facility runs smoothly and efficiently to improve observations and data quality.Focusing on the analysis of the structure and working principle,maintenance system,and maintenance content of the FAST equipment,this study takes the actual FAST engineering maintenance case as the research object and thoroughly analyzes the basic situation and process of engineering maintenance.The findings reveal existing flaws in the current FAST equipment maintenance program,as well as enhanced maintenance procedures for future maintenance work,aiming to improve FAST observation times and service life.This article also provides recommendations for future repair and upkeep.
