Comparison of ethical issues between gene editing technology and synthetic biology technology

概述了基因编辑技术和合成生物技术的发展所带来的复杂伦理问题;分析了二者在自然生命观、传统文化观、技术安全观、社会公正观等方面引发的共性伦理争议,以及在伦理后果、伦理态度和伦理治理等层面存在的伦理差异。通过构建合理的伦理反思进路,展望了现代生物技术面临的复杂性伦理挑战以及所应秉持的科学伦理立场。

The complex ethical issues arising from the development of the gene editing technology and the synthetic biology technology are reviewed in this paper.The common ethical disputes among the natural life view,the traditional culture view,the technological security and the social justice are analyzed,as well as the ethical differences in the ethical consequences,the ethical attitudes and the ethical governance.By developing a reasonable ethical reflection approach,the complex ethical challenges faced by the modern biotechnology and the scientific ethical position that should be upheld are prospected.This paper provides some guidance for the formulation of the forward-looking and targeted classified governance countermeasures in the future,to make the development of science and technology and the social ethics in harmony for the benefit of mankind.
