数字普惠金融能否提高区域创新能力--基于空间杜宾模型的分析

Can Digital Inclusive Finance Improve Regional Innovation Capability:Analysis Based on Spatial Dubin Model

普惠金融致力于扩大金融的服务范围,为中小企业和落后地区提供低成本、低门槛、便捷的外部融资和金融服务,推动区域创新水平的提高,数字经济和普惠金融的结合强化了这一推动作用。通过我国30个省(市、自治区)2011—2019年的面板数据,利用中介模型和空间杜宾模型探究数字普惠金融影响区域创新的具体路径。研究发现:数字普惠金融的发展通过推进消费升级和加快产业结构优化升级对区域创新能力产生促进作用,这一结论在考虑内生性问题之后依旧成立,并且该推动作用在稳健性检验下仍然显著;异质性分析表明,数字普惠金融对创新的推动作用在东部地区更高,说明了该推动作用受到地区经济发展水平的限制;空间计量分析表明,数字普惠金融打破了地理空间限制,对于周边地区的创新能力也存在显著的促进作用。

The inclusive finance policy is committed to expanding the scope of financial services,providing small and medium-sized enterprises and backward regions with low-cost,low threshold and convenient external financing and financial services,and promoting regional innovation.The combination of digital economy and inclusive finance has strengthened this driving role.Through the provincial panel data of 30 provinces and cities in China from 2011 to 2019,the intermediary model and spatial Dubin model are used to explore the specific path of digital inclusive finance affecting regional innovation.The empirical findings show that the development of digital inclusive finance promotes regional innovation capability by promoting consumption upgrading and accelerating the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.This conclusion is still valid after considering endogenous issues,and the driving effect is still significant under the robustness test.Heterogeneity analysis shows that digital inclusive finance plays a stronger role in promoting innovation in the eastern region,indicating that this role is limited by the level of regional economic development.The spatial econometric model shows that digital inclusive finance has broken the geographical and spatial restrictions,and has a significant role in promoting the innovation ability of surrounding areas.
