A Review of the Research Results on the World Historical Significance of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era

当前学术界对新时代中国特色社会主义世界历史意义的研究大致呈现三种路径:一是以中国特色社会主义运动主体为视角,对社会主义发展新局面展开具体化研究;二是从世界历史的高度,对人类社会发展进行创新性探索;三是以实现国家现代化为目标,为人类开辟新型现代化道路提供有益借鉴。这三种研究路径虽然在研究方向和问题设置上有所不同,但其研究目标都进一步明确了中国特色社会主义的历史使命与历史方位,对于我们正确认识和把握中国的重要战略机遇期,推动中国在世界舞台上发挥更积极的作用具有重要的理论意义和实践价值。

At present,there are three ways to study the world historical significance of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.First,we should conduct specific research on the new situation of socialist development from the perspective of the subject of the socialist movement with Chinese characteristics.Second,from the height of world history,we should explore the development of human society innovatively.Third,the goal is to realize national modernization and provide useful reference for mankind to open up a new path to modernization.Although these three research paths are different in research direction and problem setting,their research objectives all further clarify the historical mission and historical orientation of socialism with Chinese characteristics.They are of great theoretical significance and practical value for us to correctly understand and seize the important strategic opportunities for China and help China to play a more active role on the world stage.
