香港个人数据跨境传输规则研究

Research on Cross-border Transfer Rules of Personal Data in Hong Kong

随着粤港澳大湾区的融合发展,个人数据跨境流动也会进一步加强,数据安全也会成为政府和企业都关注的一个焦点问题。本文通过对香港个人数据跨境传输规则进行研究,一方面可以帮助相关企业了解香港个人数据跨境传输规则的特点,合理规避跨境业务开展过程中涉及的数据合规风险,另一方面可以为香港与内地在数据跨境流动领域的合作提供建议。

With the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the cross-border flow of personal data will be further strengthened, and data security will also become a focal issue for both government and enterprises. This paper studies the cross-border transfer rules of personal data in Hong Kong. On the one hand, it can help relevant enterprises understand the characteristics of the cross-border transfer rules of personal data in Hong Kong,and reasonably avoid the data compliance risks involved in the development of cross-border business. On the other hand,it can provide suggestions for the cooperation between Hong Kong and the mainland in the field of cross-border data flow.
