“推动各民族共同走向社会主义现代化”是习近平总书记关于加强和改进民族工作重要思想的组成部分,是新时代党中央在民族工作领域的重大决策部署。这一新论断是对“加快少数民族和民族地区经济社会发展”“各民族共同团结奋斗、共同繁荣发展”等政策思想的继承和发展。根据党的二十大关于走中国式现代化道路,全面建设社会主义现代化国家的有关部署,各民族共同走向社会主义现代化,经济上要融入国家统一的现代经济体系,政治上要全面推进各民族共同当家作主的民主政治建设,文化上要建设中华民族共有精神家园,社会建设上要推动各民族交往交流交融,生态上民族地区要全面融入生态文明现代化进程。

“Promoting all ethnic groups to move towards socialist modernization ” is part of General Secretary Xi Jin-ping’s important thoughts on strengthening and improving ethnic work. It is a major decision of the CPC Central Committee in the field of ethnic work in the new era. This new decision is the inheritance and development of the ideas of “accelerating the economic and social development of ethnic minorities and ethnic areas” and “common unity and struggle, and common prosperity and development of all ethnic groups”. In accordance with the relevant arrangement of the 20th CPC National Congress on taking the Chinese path to modernization and fully building a modern socialist country, all ethnic groups are to move towards socialist modernization together, by economically getting integrated into the modern economic system of the country, politically promoting the construction of democratic politics in which all ethnic groups are the masters of the country, culturally constructing a common spiritual home for the Chinese nation, socially promoting the communication, exchange and integration among ethnic groups, and ecologically getting fully integrated into the modernization process.
