清末至民国时期图书馆馆长称谓的演变

Study on the Evolution of Titles for Librarians in Late-Qing and Republican China

文章以19世纪90年代为起始,以1937年全面抗日战争爆发为讫点,研究期间图书馆馆长称谓的使用与变化。基于晚清图书馆章程及相关研究文献梳理晚清时期图书馆掌管者的称谓,并对民国期间政府文件中的馆长称谓和144所图书馆的馆长称谓进行整理,统计不同类型图书馆馆长称谓的使用情况,分析清末民国时期馆长称谓演变的特征。

Based on all kinds of historical materials,especially laws,government documents and library regulations,this paper makes a survey of the evolution of titles for librarians in China from the 1890s to 1937.The result shows that different titles were used to call librarians in Late-Qing and Republican China,such as“ti diao”,“guan zhang”,“zhu ren”,etc.Besides,it makes an analysis of how such titles were used in different types of libraries in modern China,and summarizes the characteristics of the evolution of such titles as well.
