On the Evaluation of the Offensive and Defensive Ability Levels of the Top Eight Teams in the2020 European Cup

目的:探究第16届欧洲杯8强队伍攻防综合实力,对8支队伍攻防能力进行等级评价与分析。方法:数理统计、非整秩次秩和比等研究方法。研究表明:进攻方面,西班牙队WRSR值处于A级水平,冠军意大利的WRSR值为B级水平;防守方面,意大利、英格兰、捷克的WRSR值为B级水平;攻防方面,意大利、西班牙的攻防WRSR值所处等级为B级。各队攻防WRSR值与排名均成显著性相关(r=0.857)。本届欧洲杯8强球队按攻防实力可分为3档。

Objective: To explore the overall offensive and defensive strength of the top eight teams in the 16 th European Cup, and to evaluate and analyze the offensive and defensive capabilities of the eight teams. Methods: Mathematical statistics, non-integral ranks and rank sum ratios. Research shows that: In terms of offense, the Spanish team’s WRSR value is at the A level, and the champion Italy’s WRSR value is at the B level;defensively, the WRSR values of Italy, England, and the Czech Republic are B level;in terms of offense and defense, Italy and Spain’s offensive and defensive WRSR values are B level. The offensive and defensive WRSR values of each team are significantly correlated with the ranking(r=0.857). According to the offensive and defensive strength of the current European Cup quarter-finals, the teams can be divided into three gears.
