This article studies Medvedev’s technique and tactic, providing theoretical references for China’s athletic tennis development and adolescent tennis game. It uses literature method, video observation method, mathematical statistics method and comparative analysis method to analyze Medvedev’s game data, and draws out Medvedev’s technical and tactical characteristics: stable and aggressive serving technique is a prerequisite for winning the game;strong receiving and serving skills are an important condition for winning;technical stability and accurate grasp of winning opportunities are the main factors for winning;good physical and psychological qualities are also key elements for winning;netting shortcomings of the former technology are an important factor that affects the comprehensiveness of its technology, and it needs to be further strengthened in the subsequent training.
