Design and Application of Master Patient Indexes in Hospital Information System

基于医院业务集成平台与患者全息360档案的主索引的建设,实现同步共享院内系统患者信息。结合卫生部的标准,根据患者档案实名信息合并全院患者档案,建立患者信息唯一主索引,实现全院患者的统一管理。实践证明,成功建立了患者主索引(EnterpriseMasterPatientIndex,EMPI)。该索引以患者身份证号(Identity Document,ID)、姓名、联系电话、出生年月作为主索引建立的重要标识,为临床大数据平台的建立和各个系统共享信息资源奠定基础,加快了医院信息系统改革。

Based on the construction of the hospital service integration platform,enterprise master patient indexes on holographic 360 are studied to realized the synchronization and sharing of multiple information systems in the hospital.Combined with the standards of the Ministry of Health,the rule of real-name identification visits is set up.The whole patient files are merged according to the patient association algorithm,and a unique main index of patient information is established to realize the unified management of patients.Practice has proved that our hospital has successfully established the Enterprise Master Patient Index(EMPI)for patient information.The patient Identity Document(ID)card or passport number,name,contact number and date of birth are used as imp ortant indicators for the establishment of the main index,which lays the foundation for the establishment of the clinical big data platform.The EMPI helps to promote various businesses,with accelerating the reform and sustainable development of the hospital information system.
