The Historical Investigation of the Communist Party of China Promoting Economic Modernization Since the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

新中国成立以来,中国共产党领导人民推进经济现代化取得了举世罕见的成就,其主要原因就在于中国共产党在不同历史阶段开辟了符合中国实际的发展道路。1949—1978年,在计划经济体制下最大限度地调动各方资源,以工业化为重点大力推进经济现代化;1978—2012年,以改革开放为主动力,利用“两个市场”“两种资源”迅速推进经济现代化;自2012年以来,在经济新常态下提出并践行新发展理念,以实体经济为着力点、深入推进供给侧结构性改革,高质量推进经济现代化。70多年来,中国共产党领导人民推进经济现代化的历史向我们深刻昭示了如下基本经验:第一,必须加强党对经济现代化的领导;第二,必须遵循守正创新的基本原则;第三,必须正确处理政府与市场的关系;第四,必须将发展实体经济作为着力点。

Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the Communist Party of China has led the people in promoting economic modernization and made achievements rarely seen in the world.The main reason is that the Communist Party of China has opened up development paths suited to China’s actual conditions at different historical stages.From 1949 to 1978,under the planned economic system,China mobilized all resources to the maximum extent and vigorously promoted economic modernization with emphasis on industrialization.From 1978 to 2012,China rapidly promoted economic modernization with reform and opening up as the main driving force,using“two markets”and“two resources”.Since 2012,China has put forward and put into practice a new development philosophy under the economic“new normal”,deepened supply-side structural reform with the real economy as the focus,and advanced high-quality economic modernization.Over the past 70 years and more,the CPC’s history of leading the people in promoting economic modernization has taught us the following basic lessons:First,we must strengthen the leadership of the Communist Party of China in economic modernization;Second,we must follow the basic principle of integrity and innovation.Thirdly,the relationship between the government and the market must be properly handled.Fourth,we must focus on developing the real economy.
