感官转向:数据驱动城市主义的空间干预策略及反思

Sensorial Turn:The Strategy for Data-driven Urbanism Spatial Intervention and Its Reflection

当前以数据驱动城市主义为代表的智慧城市大多遵循单一的控制论模式和算法优先原则,较少触及物质空间形式及场所精神,而面对数字资本加之于社会个体和集体身心之上的殖民式掠夺,传统城市理论和空间批判难以作出有力回应。文章以技术哲学研究和感官人类学的视角,通过回溯二十世纪建筑与城市空间先锋性实验及其所仰赖的多元异质的社会文化土壤,借助“感官接口”和“数据器官学”这两个具有批判性的概念和工具,来引导思考设计如何在自动化城市中植入具有逆熵潜能的多重空间和界面,并尝试突破当前智慧城市的单一叙事模式,探索具有新城市精神的设计改造范式。

Most of the smart cities represented by data-driven urbanism adopt the simple mode of cybernetics and the principle of algorithm first,and they seldom get to the forms of material space and the spirit of sites.It’s difficult for the traditional urban theories and spatial critics to respond in an effective way towards the colonial plundering brought by digital capitalists upon social individuals and collectives.Rooted in the research on philosophy of technology and the aspect of sensory anthropology,this paper reviews the pioneering experiments of building and urban space of the 20th century and the plural heterogeneous socio-cultural backgrounds these experiments rely upon,and conducts its design by two critical concepts and also tools“sensory interface”and“data organology”,probing into how to plant in an automated city the multiple spaces and interfaces with reverse entropy potential.This paper also tries to break through the simple narrative mode adopted by current smart cities and explore the paradigm for the design transformation of new urban spirit.
