Objective To explore the effect of fast mini clinical exercise evaluation(Fast Mini-CEX)combined with case-based learning(CBL)in standardized training of emergency residents. Methods 43 students were randomly divided into two groups:20 students in the target group(applied Fast Mini-CEX combined with CBL teaching model)and 23 students in the control group(applied traditional teaching model),from January 2020 to March 2021.Both groups completed their examinations, student satisfaction questionnaires and 360 evaluation, and combined with the examination results to evaluate the teaching effect of students. Results The test scores of the target group were better than those of the control group, the results of the increase was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction questionnaire score of target group was higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall evaluation and working style scores were higher than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Fast Mini-CEX combined with the CBL teaching mode is better than the traditional teaching mode in the standardized training of emergency residents, and it give full play to the active initiative of the students.
