中华美育会考论

Textual Research on Chinese Aesthetic Education Association

筹创于1919年的中华美育会是由上海专科师范学校、爱国女学联合全国艺术工作者和大中小学校艺术教师,为共同推动学校美育和社会美育,实施新艺术教育运动而组织的中国首个美育学术团体,复于次年4月20日创刊其机关刊物《美育》杂志。中华美育会得到了蔡元培的指导,并以传承李叔同的美育与艺术教育精神为己任。研究中华美育会的筹备和创立时间、经过及其学术主张、成员分布、实际作为,可进一步明了中国现代美育发轫期美育与艺术教育诉求,并对其学术贡献和历史影响给予客观评判。

Chinese Aesthetic Education Association,founded in 1919,was the first aesthetic education group in China organized by Shanghai Teachers College and Patriotic Women s School in association with national art workers and art teachers in primary and secondary schools to jointly promote school aesthetic education and social aesthetic education,and implement the new art education movement.On April 20 of the following year,it launched its official journal,Aesthetic Education.Chinese Aesthetic Education Association had been guided by Cai Yuanpei and committed to inheriting Li Shutong s spirit of aesthetic education and art education.According to the study on the preparation and founding time,process,academic propositions,member distribution,and actual actions of Chinese Aesthetic Education Association,we are supposed to further understand the appeal of aesthetic education and art education in the initial stage of modern Chinese aesthetic education,and objectively judge its academic contributions and historical influence.
